Palm Sunday
I live in Florida: Palm trees are everywhere, and I am noticing them more than usual today. The branches waving in the breeze make it easy to picture Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem. Can you imagine what it must have been like to be one of them? The people waving Palm branches that day and singing Hosanna…blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord… had no idea what the week ahead held for Him or for their personal eternities. But we do.
This Palm Sunday, as we celebrate Jesus as King, we know full well what the week ahead held for Him. And we know that He believed we were worth it all.
Let’s live like we believe He was right!
- Choose confidence over fear.
- Choose good over bad.
- Choose joy over sadness.
- Choose love over hate.
Take each opportunity God gives you to let everyone in your sphere of influence know they, too, are worth it all. Tell His story.
May God give you the passion and confidence you need to be His witness as you partner with your husband, in times of celebration and hardship, for Kingdom progress.
I’m praying for you and hope that you are praying for pastors’ wives everywhere.
Many people spread their cloaks on the road, while others spread branches they had cut in the fields. Those who went ahead and those who followed shouted, “Hosanna! Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord! -Mark 11:8-9
