Pastors' Wives With Church Attendance of Less Than 100
|
|
| Please introduce yourself | | Good morning ladies! I wanted to introduce myself since I am new to this forum. My husband has been the solo pastor for 2 1/2 years. We will be celebrating our 2 year wedding anniversary in a few months so I'm still a new PW. I was so excited to find out about this website and to connect with other PW around the country! While there are many churches around us I am the youngest PW and sometimes feel completely alone in my calling as a small congregation PW. Any advice or support you have would be greatly appreciated. I look forward to getting to know you! Have a blessed day!

Hello Amy, I understand how you feel. I was so excited to find this website. I found this site on anoter site for PW but on the other site only one person responded. We started the church in August of 2009. Email me @ Businessmanagerpt@yahoo.com so we can get to know each other.
| Hi Amy and Latosha, I am also a new PW and have just started using this website. I was so excited to find out there was a network that was especially for PW. I'm also now glad to see that this site is up and running. I hadn't seen any movement for a few weeks. Maybe I'm just not looking on the right forums.. :P Ha. I guess I should introduce myself now. My name is Michelle Rogers and I am a new PW on the east coast. Our church is also a baby church (2 yrs). Oh and Amy, I totally feel where you're coming from, being the youngest PW in the area. It makes it kind of hard to really get close to the other PW when you are so much more younger than them. I am still working on that myself. If any suggestions to help with that in the future please let me know. Latosha/Amy..do you know if there are any conferences coming up for GPWN? It would be great to be able to get to know more PW.
God Bless
| Hello Ladies! It's so great to hear from you. I was thinking that no one was using this forum before I saw your responses. I don't know much about the conferences, sorry. Michelle, we are actually talking to people in our presbytery to get a PW group going. We are hoping that if we have local events and meetings it will be easier to connect and become a support network for each other. Maybe you could see if anyone in your area would have interest in that? Latosha, I hope your first Lenten season in your church is going well. Hopefully we'll see some more people on here but feel free to write about any ideas, suggestions, or advice that you need. Look forward to hearing from you!
| Hi, Ladies, I, too am a young pastor's wife... and sometimes feel like I'm the only one! I'd sure like to get to know everyone.
